Upcoming MS Events

What a bad little blogger I've been! Sorry ladies, "life" got in the way for a while there.

I wanted to post the dates for the next couple of MS events many of the Angels will be attending:

Thursday, May 7th, 5:30 p.m. -- MS After Dark wine tasting @ the Providence Biltmore -- you don't want to miss this! Tickets are $35 each. This is, of course, a tax write-off for a GREAT cause, but you also get to sample many, many wines as well as eat good food with fun friends....it's a wonderful evening out. Hope to see you all there! You can email Angel Brown about our group tickets @ oangelb423@aol.com.

Saturday, October 3rd -- MS Jet Pull.... Okay, THIS you really don't want to miss!!! Please let me know if you're "in" this year as I've been keeping track of responses to Robin's email as far as participants go.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! So glad "hibernation season" is over!

A Superstar Among Us

Congratulations to Bonnie Benson for her AMAZING 7th-place finish in the Firefighter Challenge!

I watched what these incredible heroes and athletes endure to be among the best of the best -- what a competition, WOW!!!

Cheers to many more successes, Bonnie! Soooo proud of you! xoxo

Don't they know who he is?!

Bad news, ladies. Patrick just found out (through an e-mail, no less....so unprofessional!) that he won't be presenting at the Wine Divas anymore. His competitor's company is going to be paying for part of the event, so he's getting the boot. :(

I'm not saying that we shouldn't attend anymore....because it is a fun night out at a great price....but maybe a bunch of replies to their e-mail expressing a little love for Hogie couldn't hurt! What do you say? (If you choose to: MUCH OBLIGED!)

Also: We'll have to plan a country/western line dancing night for sometime this winter, what do you say?

Hope to see everyone soon. Have a very Merry Christmas!!

Let's "Face" It....

If you haven't yet joined Facebook, you're missing out on some fun! Several of the "Angels" are connected through the site and we'd love to see you on there, as well. Facebook, coupled with this blog, will be a fantastic way for us to all stay in touch and know what's going on in everyone's world.

You can go to www.facebook.com and then search for my name (I'm listed under Pamela Smith Hogan) and I will be more than happy to hook you up with the other gals.

Here's wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy. xo

Cast-iron Craziness.

Okay, ladies, do you see what is happening here?

This is on Election Day. Early November, right? It's not even full-blown winter yet and we're apparently bouncing off the walls with feelings of cooped-up lunacy. It's oozing out of every pore! We need fresh air!

Why the frying pans? I have no idea. I'm sure there was an explanation for the decision at the time, but Wen and I are having a hard time remembering....Chris, do you recall the reasoning?!

Turning my head in shame.

You can't take us anywhere!
Yeah, that's me on the left-- facing the other way. Read on and you'll find out why....

So, here we are at the Wine Divas event at Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant this month. Girls' Night Out! Fun company, great wines, yummy food and plenty of Spamalot Shots (if you don't know what those are, you haven't hung around me enough yet)....and there was even a special appearance by a walrus (Nanci) and a seal (Lori, Wen's friend - and I have no recollection as to what started the whole seal imitation!).
You heard me right, a WALRUS and a SEAL. Thankfully, I have picture-proof of the walrus scene, otherise I'm relatively certain you wouldn't believe me.
My husband was the wine presenter and I know he just can't wait for next month's event! Go easy on him, gals, as I won't be at that one. Make me proud. :)
